Plenty of Short Term Rentals

I have just come back from my trip to Taiwan, Taipei. Most of the friends that visited there in our age will not stay in hotel, since its always another better choice of accomodation. It is cheaper, feel more homed, and probably nearer to those LRT/MRT or public transport.

In Taiwan we called that 民宿. It came to my suprise that Malaysia also actually have this service available, and its so much cheaper compare to Taiwan's homestay! It is Malaysia short rentals in CariBilik.

Initially CariBilik was only offered house for rental, which is on monthly basis. Now it has introduced the short term rentals similar to Taiwan too. It's suitable for traveller / backpacker that visits to Malaysia for a vacation, feel more local style homestay with low cost. As I can see, 民宿 in Taipei will cost around TWD 1000 to TWD 1500 which is Malaysian Ringgit RM 100 to RM 160. However, the rooms that can be found in Cari Bilik is only costing RM 20 to RM 40 per room! If people come by group of 8, they can even share a house up to RM 200 ( divide by 8 people is only RM 25 per pax), with 4 rooms fully furnished house!

It's just three simple ways to get things done. Since the process is standardized, it wont create confusion.

It is considered as a wise option for vacation's accomodation. Taiwanese can decorate the short term rental rooms with different themes of the room to attract guests. They decorates rooms with different color and style to match the preference of guest. ( They even have Cartoon's character theme to attract young girls). Of course, hygience and safetiness is always the main concern of the travellors.

We may be can see Malaysia also can welcome foreign traveller with this homestay too.
